The following have been taken from the log I wrote on a recent sailing race from Melbourne to Vanuatu. Onboard a Beneteau First 47.7 with 7 other crew we sailed approx 2000 kms from cold Melbourne to tropical pacific island of Vanautu.

My nickname onboard is the Ships Cat as I can be found sleeping anywhere at any time in any conditions. Meow!

- A fortune teller (not that I live my life by them) once told me that all they could see around me was water, water everywhere. Yippee!! I thought (provided she was not having a drowning premonition), as I find being near or on the water one of life's greatest delights. Couple water in its liquid form or frozen in its skiable form with real friends (not the fly-by-nighters), great food, interesting wine and of course lots of laughs and I am in a state of bliss.
